Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet

During my trip to Istanbul, I stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet, located at Tevkifhane Sokak No. 1. Honestly, it was an amazing stay. 💫 The hotel is located next to the main square in the Sultanahmet area, just a 2-minute walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, making it perfect for sightseeing. 📷

The location couldn't be better! The surrounding area is also very convenient, with tram lines to the Spice Bazaar and Galata Tower nearby. 🚋 The hotel looks ancient from the outside, as it was once an Ottoman prison, but it has been transformed into a luxurious hotel with a strong sense of design, giving it a retro yet modern feel. 🏛️ Check-in at the front desk was smooth, and the staff were friendly and professional, answering many of my questions. 👌

As for the room, the window faces Hagia Sophia, offering a top-notch view. 🌇 Although the room was a bit small, it was well-equipped, clean, and tidy, with comfortable beds and towels. 😍 The room also provided L'Occitane products and automatic curtains, adding a touch of luxury. They were also very child-friendly, offering some fun little toys, which was very thoughtful. 🐻

How can you miss out on the food in Istanbul? 🌮 The hotel's rooftop terrace is a must-see! I especially enjoyed the burger night there, with live jazz music and the beautiful view of Hagia Sophia, making for a very special experience. 🎶 If you have time, it's really nice to relax with a drink on the rooftop. 🍹

Outside the hotel, there are many great restaurants nearby: the scenic dining at Skyline Soiree Rooftop Restaurant is worth a try, and the Turkish cuisine at Mivan Restaurant & Cafe is unforgettable. 😋 If you can't get enough of the beautiful scenery, you can also go to Havana Bar & Restaurant for a seaside coffee and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.

The only downside is that the room is really not big, probably because the hotel was converted from a prison. 🔒 But overall, the luxury and attentive service of this Four Seasons Hotel more than make up for it.

In short, the Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet is a place where you can truly experience the unique history and culture of Istanbul, and I highly recommend it! Next time I go to Istanbul, I'll choose to stay here again. 🌟
