[Shizuoka] A stroll around Shuzenji Onsen

I took a walk around Shuzenji Onsen, one of the most famous hot spring towns in Izu with a history of 1200 years♨️

First, I visited Shuzenji Temple (apparently the kanji is not Shuzenji...lol) and then walked along the river. I discovered Tokko no Yu, the symbol of the hot spring town! At first I thought it was a foot bath, but bathing is currently prohibited here. Please note that it is only for viewing🙅‍♀️

Then I went to the bamboo forest path that I was looking forward to🎋The beautiful green bamboo lined up was photogenic✨

This time I didn't stay at an inn, but it was a day trip. There are many long-established inns in Shuzenji, so next time I would like to come and stay overnight☺️
