🐰Crowding situation at the restaurant: Arrived at 11:00, entered around 11:20
・The location is in a great location in front of the main gate of Izumo Taisha. This soba restaurant is next to Starbucks.
・There are many Izumo soba restaurants in the neighborhood, but this was the one with the longest line. It opens at 11:00, but closes as soon as the soba runs out, so even if you come around 11:00 on a weekday, you should be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes◎
・Although it is a long-established restaurant, it has been renovated again in conjunction with the Heisei Grand Shrine Relocation, so the stylish and tasteful exterior and interior are lovely.
・You can check the menu with a QR code while you wait. It might be smoother if you decide what to order in advance.

🐰Thoughts
Personally, this was my first time in Izumo and my first time eating Izumo soba.
The reason I wanted to go to Izumo was because I wanted to try Izumo soba at least once🤤
The menu I ordered this time: Sanshoku Wariko Soba🥢✨ Wariko Soba...This is the classic cold soba served in a vermilion lacquerware called a wariko.
You can choose from three or more colors, and one serving is made from three colors. The way to eat it is to eat one layer at a time, and when you finish the first layer, pour the soba soup into the second layer, add more soba soup to your liking, and continue eating the third layer in the same way.
Izumo soba has a firmer texture than regular soba, and because the buckwheat flour is coarsely ground, it has a rich flavor. It's chewy, but also moist, which I really like, and if I had the space in my stomach, I would have liked to try soba from different restaurants. It was interesting that each plate had a different taste, and it was refreshing to enjoy the differences in taste as you eat.
It's highly recommended for beginners, not only for the taste but also for the location.
It was a restaurant that I can confidently recommend to anyone who is unsure of which Izumo soba restaurant to choose, as it was satisfying enough to justify the queue.
I'm glad I had my first Izumo soba here!!! 🥢
