Kami no Kuni-Shimane Izumo Taisha Shrine New Year's visit (Yuurin Shrine)

Shimane Izumo Taisha Shrine is one of the must-sees for Japanese people when they first visit the temple.
Izumo Taisha Shrine is dedicated to Okuninushi-no-Omikami (the god of love and marriage)
It is an ancient shrine with a high status in Japan.
It is also listed as a national treasure and important cultural property of Japan.
The first thing that catches your eye is four rows of tall pine trees, with the God's Road in the middle and worshippers walking on both sides.
Go forward and you will see the Torii Gate.
After entering Izumo Taisha, the shimenawa rope in the worship hall caught my attention first (but the shimenawa rope in Kagura Hall is even more massive, weighing 5.2 tons and 13.6 meters long)
Because it was the first day of the new year, the worshippers lined up in an orderly manner.
After the worship, you can go to the torii gate of the shrine to worship the bronze horse and bronze bull (both are smooth and shiny after being touched by worshippers, and some investors probably believe in the bull market, so the bronze bull part is very smooth to the naked eye)
Photography is prohibited when entering the main hall, but in fact, once you enter the main hall, you will be attracted by the solemn atmosphere and ancient atmosphere.
It makes people pay respect in a solemn manner unconsciously~
Behind the main hall of Izumo Taisha Shrine, there is a stone rabbit for worship.
Worshippers place coins (especially five-yuan coins) to pray for the stone rabbit to bring good luck in marriage (Izumo Taisha is also a famous shrine for marriage).
After visiting the Stone Rabbit, you can take a walk around the Mirror Pond.
Unlike the crowded main hall, this is refreshing.
Calm down here and feel the new atmosphere of the new year.
The new year has a great start!
💞Recommendation reason: There are special limited amulets available during October-November every year
The way to worship is: two bows, four claps, one bow
🏖️Transportation: Take JR to Izumoshi Station, change to Ichibata Bus and get off at Izumotaisha Station or take the tram to Izumotaisha-mae Station, walk about 10 minutes and change to the front-door bus to get off at Izumotaisha Station
