Takayama

Takayama City is located in Gifu Prefecture in the central part of the Japanese archipelago. Before Japan was unified, it was divided into many countries. This area is called Hida Country. It is a clean city with a river flowing through the middle of the village. The people are friendly. You can reach it by train from Toyama City. What you must not miss when you come here is don't forget to eat Hida beef.
