Xixifan, Xin'an Greenway in Hangzhou, a sparsely populated and beautiful paradise

Xin'an Greenway is located in Jiande City, Hangzhou, and is also known as the "Western Section of the Little Three Gorges". It starts from Xuxi Gantan Post Station and ends at Qili Yangfan Yaowu Wharf on Fuchun River, with a total length of 12.7 kilometers. Along the way there are scenic spots such as Gantan, Xixifan, Zhuyin Cafe, Zixu Ferry, and Wushitan. Although it is called "Xin'an Greenway", it actually belongs to the upper reaches of the Fuchun River because it has passed the "Lanjiang and Xin'anjiang intersection".

Xixifan in the greenway is located in the middle section between Zixu Ferry and Gantan Wharf and is the location of Hangzhou Fuchun Fangwai Hotel. Xixifan is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with beautiful scenery. It is a paradise with few people and beautiful scenery.

Legend has it that Huang Gongwang, a famous painter of the Yuan Dynasty, once lived in seclusion here. In the 1970s, it was the location of the May 7th Cadre School, where party and government officials, scientific and technological personnel, and college teachers underwent labor reform and ideological education. The story described in the opera "The Little Nun Goes Down the Mountain" took place here.

Coming to Xixifan, it feels like entering Huang Gongwang's "Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains". "A sound of "Aina" makes the mountains and rivers green." Xixifan in late spring is like an ink painting. The mountains are verdant and clean, the Xu River is as smooth as a mirror, the banks are covered with green grass, white geese are free, and water birds are dancing. The green before my eyes is full of vitality and has a hint of mystery.

🚉Transportation strategy: You cannot drive into Xixifan by car, you can only park at the Qili Yangfan Dry Pond Tourist Wharf. There is about 4.5 kilometers of greenway from the parking lot to Xixifan. If you stay at Fuchun Fangwai Hotel, the hotel will pick you up at the pier by cruise ship or electric car.
