Review of the Crowne Plaza Jiangmen

Crowne Plaza Jiangmen is located in the core area of Binjiang New District, Pengjiang, boasting an excellent location with complete leisure and commercial facilities nearby. It is adjacent to Yuanshanhu Urban Park, West Pearl River Exhibition Center, Binjiang Sports Center, and is within 90 minutes' drive from Guangzhou, Foshan, and Zhongshan, making transportation very convenient.

The hotel lobby blends the historical culture of the hometown of overseas Chinese with modern aesthetics. Stepping in from the bustling city, the noise and chaos seem to fade away, instantly immersing guests in a tranquil and elegant atmosphere, marking the beginning of a relaxing and comfortable holiday.

Walking through the hotel lobby and lobby bar, you'll notice the extensive use of glass mosaic tiles and copper screens, incorporating elements of banyan tree rings and diaolou (watchtower) architecture, highlighting the local cultural heritage and creating a sense of understated luxury.

The fan-shaped chandeliers, banyan tree art installations, and artistic displays of old and new urban architecture cleverly convey the roots of Wuyi and the rapid development of Jiangmen. Traditional culture and modern design complement each other, giving guests a feeling of traveling through time.

The hotel features 317 comfortable guest rooms and suites with good natural lighting, offering views of the vibrant city and Xingguang Park. The room murals incorporate the world heritage of Kaiping Diaolou, representing the culture of overseas Chinese. The room amenities are of high quality, meeting the standards of the Crowne Plaza brand. Each room is equipped with a bathtub and aromatherapy, and the Wanda Reign bed with 966 individually pocketed springs ensures a restful stay.

This time, I stayed in a 90-square-meter luxury suite with separate living room, bedroom, walk-in closet, and bathroom, providing ample space. Guests with executive benefits can enjoy coffee, tea, and happy hour at the executive lounge.

For dining, the hotel offers an all-day dining restaurant "The Eatery," a Chinese restaurant "Pin Zhen," and the lobby bar. "The Eatery" currently serves a daily buffet dinner, with the November theme being the "Luxury Crab Season," featuring Canadian snow crab legs and claws, individually served hairy crabs, braised chicken with crab, Typhoon Shelter crab, charcoal-grilled oysters or skewers, tempura oysters, and other seasonal delicacies.

The Chinese restaurant "Pin Zhen" specializes in classic Cantonese cuisine. Its dim sum is very popular, with bustling business. Cantonese morning tea starts at 8:00 AM in the 3rd-floor banquet hall, attracting many local diners. The Chinese restaurant also serves dim sum from 11:30 AM, with must-try items like Crowne Plaza shrimp dumplings, handmade beef balls, molten egg yolk buns, and BBQ pork rice rolls. The lobby bar offers coffee, tea, and afternoon tea.
