Xitang Tour｜2 Days and 1 Night Guide to Food, Drink and Fun

🪭Tour: Xitang Scenic Area is free to enter after 5pm and before 8am, but the museums inside are charged, so if you like to visit the museums, it is recommended to buy a tour + ticket in advance, which is 88 yuan. A single ticket costs 85 yuan, so why not buy more tours!

🪭Accommodation: If you want to sleep in, you must choose a place inside the scenic area. The price is not much more expensive. If you get up late, it will not be worth it to buy a ticket to enter.
We stayed at the "Xitang Chengshang Shijia Hotel" this time, which is very close to the parking lot and ticket gate. We ordered takeout for breakfast, but it couldn't be delivered in, so it was very convenient to go out and get it. It is also very close to the downtown street, just across the alley. Therefore, it is recommended to choose a hotel that is close to the ticket gate and the downtown street.

🪭Food: When visiting an ancient town, in addition to seeing the Jiangnan water town and taking photos, eating various snacks is the essence!
Auntie Guan’s stinky tofu is everywhere, so we bought one at random and it tasted pretty good.
When the catfish is grilled, the sauce inside is still fluid when it is hot, but it solidifies when it is cold, so eat it while it is hot.
There is also a snack food court inside, but I don’t recommend going there. Firstly, not many people buy there, and secondly, when you go out the next morning, you will see the food just laid out like that, with nothing to cover it.

🪭Main meal: We chose Yu Lou Chun. We saw that the restaurant was doing good business for our first meal, and there was group buying. It tasted pretty good. So I chose Yu Lou Chun again for the second meal, but I changed the restaurant. Both hotels are located by the river. Wolong Bridge is the confluence of the rivers. Sitting at the window, you can see the river, so it is more recommended!
