To the Time That Has Passed, Jiufen, Taiwan

Jiufen, where mining operations ran from 1897 to 1987 for nearly 100 years, is a place that evokes the scenery of old Taiwan. The remnants of the past and the pale yellow sea water infused with minerals still linger here.

The Golden Romantic Bus (scenic tour bus), which was once operational, has been discontinued.

For those exploring on foot, start from the Gold Museum and make your way to the Guan Yu Statue. For those on tours or renting cars, consider visiting from the Gold Museum to the Yin-Yang Sea.
