🏞️ Jinhua Shuanglong Cave|Karst Wonderland Walking Guide! 30,000 steps of trial and error bring you essential tips to avoid pitfalls!
Want to explore the underground dragon palace? Jinhua Shuanglong Cave is the place to go! Boat rides inside the cave + stunning stalactites + waterfall adventures make a legendary trio✨
🚌 Transportation Tips
📍 Address: Luodian Town, Wucheng District, Luodian Line (40 minutes by car from downtown)
⚠️ Self-driving note: Navigate to "Shuanglong Scenic Area Visitor Center," never search directly for "Shuanglong Cave"! (It will lead to undeveloped areas)
⏰ Operating Hours
Peak season (July-August): 08:00-17:10 👉🏻 Arrive early, not late! The cave lighting is best after 15:00
Off-season: 08:30-16:40 👉🏻 Must enter before 14:30
💎 Must-Do Triple Hits
1️⃣ Ice Pot Cave Waterfall
The only indoor waterfall in East China! Standing on the viewing platform, you’ll get mist all over your face (remember waterproof your phone)
📸 Photo spot: Third step on the right side of the waterfall, shoot upwards
2️⃣ Shuanglong Cave Reclining Boat
A magical experience of lying down while entering the cave! You can almost touch billion-year-old stalactites (but don’t actually touch⚠️)
🚣♀️ Tip: Choose the front of the boat! Hold tight and snap photos when staff push the boat
3️⃣ Taoyuan Cave Fissure
An exciting section where you have to crouch to walk! The rock walls "sweat," which is super interesting (not recommended if taller than 160cm)
🍄 Pitfall Prevention Guide
❗ Cave temperature is 18℃ but don’t wear too little! The waterfall area is very cold
❗ Don’t bother buying shoe covers at the entrance! Your feet won’t get wet inside the cave
❗ Must buy the shuttle bus ticket! You need to walk 2km of mountain road between caves
🌿 Hidden Fun
Wait for the 15:30 sunlight! The skylight in Ice Pot Cave casts the "Jesus light"
The bamboo shoot and braised pork at the scenic area cafeteria is surprisingly delicious (about 30 RMB per person to eat your fill)
