The wine is exquisite, and the springs are fragrant with poetic charm

On the evening of June 25th, the 'Poetic Gansu·Silk Road Breeze for Three Thousand Miles' series of events, titled 'Exquisite Wine and Fragrant Springs', was grandly inaugurated at the Jiuquan Scenic Spot of the Western Han Dynasty in Jiuquan City, hosted by the Gansu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism. The performance that night consisted of four chapters: 'Poetry and Wine on the Frontier', 'Vigil of a Millennium', 'Soaring Ambitions', and 'Deep Affections and Longing'. It linked together classic poems from different eras such as 'Drinking Alone Under the Moon', 'Marching to the Army', 'Words from Liangzhou', 'Composed After Getting Drunk at the Prefect of Jiuquan's Banquet', 'Moonlight of Dunhuang', 'New Tune of Yangguan', 'Salute to the Oil Workers', 'Powerful Aerospace Nation', 'Jiuquan, Jiuquan', and more. Interspersed with these were local Jiuquan cultural performances such as 'Yangguan in Three Stanzas', 'Youth Under the Moon', 'Song of Aerospace', 'Shepherding Horses', etc. Through a combination of live performances, video displays, stage presentations, and live promotions, the event deeply integrated poetry, music, dance, and Jiuquan's cultural tourism elements, presenting a panoramic view of Jiuquan City's rich and colorful historical culture and tourism resources.
