Gourmet in a Container vibe – Knock Knock Café Hits Different”

Checked out Knock Knock Cafe in Johor, Mount Austin and wow, super cool industrial container vibe, perfect for café hoppers looking for something different. Very aesthetic and Instagram worthy cafe!

We’re a family of 5, so we ordered 5 main courses to try! Every plate had a surprise!
• Buttery Crab Fusion Rice came with a Japanese curry-style sauce, creamy and comforting. With fried chicken karage and cauliflower fritter, topped with crab meat of cos!

• Happy’s Laksa Ever was a fun twist… Laksa broth was thick and with spaghetti and salmon that actually worked wonders!

• Seaside Aromas Aglio Olio delivered classic seafood flavour with a nice garlicky and spicy kick.

• Zesty Citrus Gyudon gave us a punchy beef bowl with tobiko and mushrooms. Lotsa furikake to add in a flavour-packed rice bowl!

• And the star for us? Definitely the Mala Chicken Confit Funghi Risotto! An infused rice with addictive mala heat you actually can’t stop eating… chicken confit was a simple add on haha… 10/10 surprise hit.

This cafe would be on the pricier side, but you’re paying for creative, atas-style café dining with bold flavours and unique presentation. Worth a visit if you’re in the area of Mount Austin!
