Anguk is a hotbed of cafes in Seoul, South Korea.
The area is close to Insadong, Ikseondong, and Samcheongdong.

There's a bakery there that serves Pretz Coffee, renowned for its delicious coffee, said to be the best in Korea.

Pretz Coffee is made by a renowned Korean barista champion and coffee bean buyer. ☕️
Not only is it coffee, it's also said to be the ultimate coffee shop, created by a team of top-notch bakers.

In addition to operating four cafes in Seoul, Pretz Coffee also wholesales coffee beans to approximately 850 companies, mainly in Korea.

I bought some takeout bread, as well as coffee, so I could enjoy it at home. 🥐✨

In addition to the Anguk store, there are also locations near Gongdeok and Gangnam, for a total of three Pretz Coffee locations.

All of the stores are built in traditional Korean buildings, like hanok (traditional Korean houses), but I think the Anguk branch has a particularly strong Korean feel.

I visited in late October, so the hanok and ginkgo trees looked beautiful, and I recommend strolling around the area before popping into the cafe.

The autumn leaves in Korea begin to change color from mid-October, and are at their best from late October to November.
