[Kotohira Shrine] A must-visit place in Kagawa Prefecture!

Located in Nakatado-gun, Kagawa Prefecture, Kotohira Shrine is a recommended spot representing Kagawa Prefecture.

Even though you have to climb a long flight of stairs to reach the main shrine, worshippers from all over Japan and even overseas continue to visit.

There are 785 stone steps from the entrance to the main shrine and 1,368 stone steps to the inner shrine.

However, it has been the dream of ordinary people since the Edo period to visit Konpira-san at least once in their lifetime.

The scenery changes with the seasons, with cherry blossoms in spring, azaleas in early summer, and autumn leaves in autumn.
