Day tour to the active volcanic island

One of Kyushu's active volcanoes, famous for its frequent eruptions 🌋, is Sakurajima Island. Getting there is easy; you can take a ferry from Kagoshima Port 🛳️ and pay for the ticket upon boarding 💵.

Once you arrive on the island, you can purchase a Day Trip Pass, which allows unlimited rides. If you plan to visit more than 2-3 spots, we highly recommend getting the pass for convenience.

The bus 🚌 will take you to various points on the island, and the highlight you shouldn't miss is the Arimura Lava Observation Deck. This spot offers a clear view of the volcanic crater, as shown in the pictures we've shared. The crater continues to collapse periodically, making it a fascinating sight.
