First Stop on a Kaifeng Tour: Kaifeng Temple of Lord Bao

The Kaifeng Temple of Lord Bao was rebuilt to commemorate Bao Zheng, a famous incorruptible official and political reformer in ancient China. It is located on the west bank of Baogong Lake in Kaifeng, Henan Province. The temple is a group of classical buildings in the Song Dynasty style, with a neat layout and a solemn atmosphere. The main buildings include the main hall, the second hall, the east and west side halls, the half-wall corridor, the stele pavilion, etc. Each place is full of historical significance. In the main hall, there is a bronze statue of Lord Bao, more than 3 meters high, wearing a python robe and a jade belt, sitting on a chair with a backrest, dignified and solemn, making people feel awe!
