Chikan Ancient Town (赤坎古镇, Chikan Ancient Town)
Located in Kaiping County, Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, China. Founded in 1649, it is known as China's National Historical and Cultural City. 

📌History and Architecture:
Chikan Ancient Town has a history of more than 350 years, with two major families, the Guan and Situ, settling in this area.  The city's architecture is characterized by arcade buildings that combine Chinese and Western architecture, built by overseas Chinese who returned to build their hometowns. 

🎡Attractions and Activities:
• European Style Street: A street lined with European-style buildings Reflecting the city's past glory
• Chikan Studio City: An area used for filming period films and dramas. 

⏰Opening hours:
Chikan Ancient City is open every day from 9:00 to 22:00. The entrance fee is about 60 yuan per person. 

🚗Transportation:
Chikan City is about 12 kilometers away from downtown Kaiping. Tourists can easily take a public bus from Kaiping to Chikan City.
