Nestled in the lush greenery of Kamakura, Tree Garden（樹ガーデン） is one of the city’s most scenic cafés — a true hidden gem perched high above the surrounding forest.

To reach it, visitors must climb the famous “heart-pounding stairs”, a bit of a workout but well worth it once you see the view. The open-air terrace, surrounded by trees, makes you feel like you’re floating among the leaves — it’s no wonder many call it a “sky café.”

The café charges a small admission fee (¥500), which includes access to the garden space.
This time, I ordered a simple apple juice, the perfect refreshment after the climb, enjoyed with the sound of rustling leaves and birdsong.
