🌿 [Kita-Kamakura, Mamiana Cafe] A reward for exploring Kamakura, enjoyed in an adult hideaway

🌿 [Kita-Kamakura Mamiana Cafe] A reward time for exploring Kamakura, enjoyed in an adult hideaway

A 3-minute walk from Kita-Kamakura Station, Mamiana Cafe is an old-style cafe with wooden doors and lattices. The interior of the renovated storehouse is a relaxing space where time flows slowly, with antique furniture and beautiful beams. It's like a raccoon's hideout, and you'll want to stop by during your trip.

🍽️ Recommended lunches and menus that will satisfy your soul
• Burgundy-style beef stew (limited to 30 servings): The harmony of the softly stewed beef shank and sour sauce is addictively delicious. Plenty of large vegetables.
• Keema curry and Kamakura ham pita bread sandwich: Perfect for lunch with just the right amount of spice and the gentle taste of local ingredients.
• Nostalgic Pudding A La Mode: A firm texture x refreshingly sweet old-fashioned pudding with seasonal fruits and ice cream. A great reward dessert for your trip.

🏡Space and Atmosphere
• Old-fashioned house x antique furniture: Order on the dirt floor on the first floor, then head to the high-beamed space on the second floor. Each seat has a different interior design.
• Comfort surrounded by large beams: The open second floor seats are a relaxing place to gently relieve the fatigue of your trip.

🚶Access & Basic Information
• Access: 3-4 minutes walk from the west exit of JR Yokosuka Line "Kita-Kamakura Station", quietly standing along the road to Tokeiji Temple.
• Business hours: 11:30-17:00 (irregular holidays, closes when sold out). It can get crowded on some days, so we recommend visiting in the early afternoon.
• Budget: Lunch ¥1,200-2,400 / Sweets & Drinks ¥700-1,500
• Number of seats: 30-40 seats. All seats non-smoking / Cards and electronic money accepted

💡Travel tips for resting
• Perfect for a "break spot" during your stroll through Kita-Kamakura. It's close to Meigetsu-in and Engaku-ji, so you can just drop in during your walk.
• The lunch menu items (especially the beef stew) tend to sell out quickly, so it's best to come right after opening or early.
• The visually appealing pudding a la mode is perfect for dessert time. Enjoy it at a window seat on the second floor while looking at the greenery.

Mamiana Cafe is a "hidden reward cafe" that you should visit on your travels.
By surrendering yourself to coffee, sweets, and peaceful time in a quiet old house, the scenery of your trip will be engraved even more deeply.
