Tucked away in a quiet corner of Kamakura, Albicocca is a charming Italian restaurant set in a renovated traditional Japanese house. With its warm wooden interiors and cozy atmosphere, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and savor every bite.

I ordered the chicken with porcini cream sauce and a juicy hamburger steak. The highlight? That rich and aromatic porcini sauce! I made sure not to waste a drop—dipping the fluffy homemade bread into the sauce was heavenly. It’s one of those meals that leaves a lasting impression.

Perfect for a relaxed lunch date or a peaceful solo meal, this place combines Italian comfort food with the timeless beauty of a kominka (traditional house). Definitely one of my favorite finds in Kamakura.
