🌿 Kamikochi – Myojin Pond Route
If you're visiting Kamikochi and want to experience nature up close, you should definitely try the Myojin Pond route! ✨

This easy hiking trail takes about an hour from Kappa Bridge through a forest of tall Japanese pine trees. The air is refreshingly cool, and you can hear the sound of the Azusa River flowing throughout. It's so enjoyable you'll lose track of time. 🍃

Once you reach Myojin Pond, you'll be greeted by crystal-clear water reflecting off the mountains like a mirror. The atmosphere is sacred and peaceful, as Hotaka Shrine Okumiya sits by the pond. Some visitors come to pray, while others simply sit and soak in the tranquility. It's a different perspective from the usual Kamikochi. Highly recommended! 🏞️

If you enjoy a relaxing walk, taking beautiful photos, or finding a quiet spot in the heart of the valley, this route is a must-see. It's one of Kamikochi's hidden gems.
