Nagano Prefecture [Kamikochi] Taisho Pond, Kappa Bridge, Yokoo Bridge

I visited Kamikochi!
We arrived at the parking lot around 5 a.m. Some parking areas were already full, so we parked in the third parking lot. From there, we purchased bus tickets, but even then, we had to wait in line for about 30 minutes.

We arrived at Taisho Pond around 7 a.m. I recommend getting off at Taisho Pond and walking to Kappa Bridge. The early morning view of Taisho Pond is incredibly mystical! It’s quite chilly in the morning, so I suggest bringing a jacket. After about a 50-minute walk, we reached Kappa Bridge! Shops start opening around 8 a.m., and there was already a line for apple pie. 💦

The river visible from Yokoo Bridge was stunningly beautiful. This was my second visit to Kamikochi, and I still recommend going on a sunny day!
