Kamikochi: The Golden Valley of Autumn

Kamikochi, the golden valley during the autumn foliage season, is so breathtakingly beautiful that you can't take your eyes off the view in front of you. :)

Things to know before traveling to Kamikochi:
01 Kamikochi is a stunning nature trail.
02 The trail we walked is 3.5 kilometers, entirely flat.
03 Open for visits from April 17 to November 15, beautiful in every season.
04 The beauty lies in seeing the Japan Alps throughout the journey.
05 We traveled from Matsumoto, the most convenient route, taking 1.5 hours.
06 Take the Matsumoto-Shin ShimaShima train for 30 minutes.
07 Then transfer to a bus for 60 minutes to reach Kamikochi. Absolutely worth it.
08 Kamikochi is beautiful in every season, so choose your favorite and go for it.
09 For autumn foliage, late October is the most stunning.
10 Lastly... we fell in love with this place and want you to try visiting at least once.

We highly recommend visiting Kamikochi in Japan.
