Why many place can’t be found to tag in trip.com
Tucked beside SRJK(C) Kampar Girls School, Cafe Lokeyun Kopitaim is one of the newer additions to Kampar’s café scene, having opened its doors in 2022. Despite its youth, the café leans heavily into old-school charm, with nostalgic wall décor and a multi-level layout that echoes the traditional kopitiam spirit many Malaysians grew up with.
🍽️ The Menu & My Picks
The menu is a comforting spread of local staples—chicken rice, noodles, and classic bread sets. I went for the ham bread set and a bowl of wantan shang mee. The bread was toasted just right, with a satisfying crunch that gave way to warm, savory ham. The wantan mee had a springy texture and was generously topped with dumplings that were both delicate and flavorful.
💸 Price vs. Experience
Admittedly, the prices are a touch steeper than other cafés in Kampar, but the ambience more than makes up for it. The layered layout offers cozy corners and elevated views, while the nostalgic design invites you to linger a little longer—whether you’re catching up with friends or simply soaking in the retro vibes.
