From City Chaos to River Zen: 2D1N at Wadi Amna

Tucked deep in the leafy heart of Janda Baik, Wadi Amna Resort was my perfect 2D1N escape from the chaos of city life. This charming stay felt like nature hit the “refresh” button—cool air, towering trees, and a river so clear it made me question every teh o ais I’ve ever drunk. The resort blends kampung charm with just enough comfort to keep city folks (like me) from panicking.

My room? Spacious, clean, and blessedly cold (thank you, air-cond gods). I spent the day exploring the peaceful village, snapping photos like an overexcited influencer, and chilling by the river pretending I was in a shampoo commercial.

For food, Pinto Café was just a short drive away—serving good coffee, even better views, and the kind of nasi lemak that makes you emotional. Budget-wise, the whole stay came in around RM200–RM250, including food and fuel.

10/10 would return—especially if my boss emails me again on a Sunday.
