[Ishikawa Prefecture, Kanazawa City] Impressive! Kanazawa Castle 🏯

Kanazawa Castle is next to Kenrokuen Garden.

I was surprised by the size of the grounds!

The main hall was burned down a long time ago, so it no longer remains, but I'm sure it must have been a large building!

You can enter the building, although there is a fee!

It was also used as a university campus until about 15 years ago!

Some parts are currently under construction for restoration, and I think it will take a while, but I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product!

I don't know much about castles myself, but there was a free zone that explained the history with VR, and a free guided tour by a staff member, so I really enjoyed it and it was a place that made me want to know more!

I'm really glad I went!
