Kanazawa Castle〔Fifty-room house〕The beauty of architecture, feel the exquisite craftsmanship of the samurai era🏯🧱

Walking into Kanazawa Castle Park, the most impressive thing for me is the straight and imposing [Gokuken Nagaya]. This 90-meter-long building was originally an important defense facility connecting the Hishi turret and the Hashizume Gate turret. It has now been rebuilt and opened to the public, fully displaying the beauty of the castle craftsmanship in the Edo period.

The roof is covered with lead plates, and the white walls and wooden beams interweave elegant lines. The "rat-tooth pile" and "cut stone pile" under the stone wall are a kind of craftsman spirit that emphasizes both practicality and aesthetics.
