[Ishikawa Prefecture, Kanazawa City] Impressive! Kanazawa Castle 🏯

Kanazawa Castle is like walking into a long historical scroll. This castle, built in 1580, is the symbol of the regime of the 44th generation of Kaga Domain, Toshiie, and witnessed the rise and fall of Japan from the Warring States Period to the Edo Period.
I strolled between the city walls and moats, touching the red and blue andesite walls mined from Higashiyama Hachiroyama, and felt the fusion of strategy and aesthetics - this place is called the "Stone Wall Museum". In front of me, the Hishi-Yagura and the 30 long houses were rebuilt with traditional craftsmanship. If you like architectural details, you might as well take some time to appreciate the grille carvings of the gate and the horizontal lines of the eaves, and feel the ingenuity of the quiet era.
📌Recommended gameplay:
Walk along the stone walls and pay attention to the different stone masonry techniques (Kirikomihagi, Uchikomihagi, etc.);
Climb up to the platform of the Haruno Turret to enjoy the view of Kanazawa City and Kenrokuen Garden;
📍Check-in location: 1-1 Marunouchi, Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture (west of Kenrokuen Garden)
🕰️Opening hours: The park is open all day, and the turret and the long house are about 9:00–17:00 (slightly adjusted according to the season)
🎟️Fee: Some buildings require tickets (Haruno Turret, long house, etc.), it is recommended to check the latest information before purchasing tickets
