Tham Phuwa Temple, Kanchanaburi Province

Wat Tham Phu Wa, located in Nong Ya Subdistrict, Mueang District, Kanchanaburi Province, is a branch of Wat Pak Nam. Wat Tham Phu Wa is a large hall-like cave. At the entrance is a large, reddish-brown sandstone castle in the style of ancient Khmer art, with intricate and beautiful patterns. The surrounding landscape is lush, clean, and beautiful, surrounded by mountains and forests. Inside, you'll find beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. It's said that this temple originally served as a cave as the ubosot (ordination hall). Inside, a statue of the Buddha in a meditation posture serves as the principal Buddha image. It also houses relics of the Buddha brought from Myanmar. #Kanchanaburi #GetDiscountsWithoutRisk
