I highly recommend Wat Tham Phu Wa. This temple is built within a natural limestone cave, creating a sacred atmosphere and stunning architecture. Upon arriving at the temple, the first thing that catches your eye is the chapel, made from laterite and brick.
It's incredibly beautiful and magnificent. But the real highlight lies inside the cave, which houses a large Buddha image in meditation posture.
The natural stalactites and stalagmites, beautifully illuminated, create a truly stunning sight.
The atmosphere inside the cave is cool and peaceful, perfect for meditation or praying. There are several sacred places to pay homage to, and a walking path allows you to admire the beauty of the stalactites and stalagmites. The outside of the cave is surrounded by trees and mountains.
Getting there is easy. The temple is located not far from Kanchanaburi city and is easily accessible by private car.
