🛌 Interesting Room Types & Accommodations
There are many types to choose from. Depending on your preferences and budget, these include:
• Superior Room (approximately 30 sq.m.) suitable for 1-2 people. Standard rooms are comfortable.
• Deluxe Room with water/garden view and balcony, offering a more natural atmosphere.
• Grand Deluxe / Junior Suite, larger rooms with better views and a sitting area separate from the bed.
• Pool Villas – One- or two-bedroom villas with private pools, perfect for those seeking ultimate privacy.

⸻
👍 What I Liked
• Natural setting + very peaceful, perfect for those looking to truly relax and unwind.
• A variety of room types to choose from, depending on your budget and level of privacy, such as pool villas or riverfront tents.
• Overall, breakfast was good, with a wide selection of dishes, and the view/atmosphere of the riverside restaurant, "River Romance," was attractive.
⸻
👎 Cautions / Points to Consider
• Some guests have complained about cleanliness, such as some rooms in older units, sticky or stained bathrooms, and some feel it doesn't look exactly like the advertised photos.
• Lots of insects/mosquitoes, especially in the evening or when close to nature, such as the wooden alleys or the outdoor garden.
• Some services can be slow, such as ordering food by the pool or using room service during peak hours. The staff seem to be overworked.
• Food prices at the resort are higher than outside. Going out to local restaurants might be a lot cheaper.
⸻
📝 My Experience
I stayed one night at Mida Resort and had the ultimate "escape from the city + get close to nature" vibe. I woke up to the view of the Kwai Yai River, the sound of birds chirping, and the surrounding water and mountains. It felt like I had completely relaxed. The rooms were comfortable. If I come again next time, I'd like to try a pool villa for a more private experience.

💡 Recommendations for Booking
• Choose a room with a river view or a pool and villa view if you want the ultimate experience.
• Check the arrival time, as during humid/rainy seasons, insects can be prevalent. Prepare yourself with mosquito repellent and spray.
• Arrive before dusk to enjoy both the evening and morning hours, when the light is best.
• Ask for specific room details, such as which room block is newer and if the furniture has been changed.
