A great day trip to Bokor National Park.

A must-see designation a short drive outside of Kampot especially on a sunny day but it is equally enjoyable on a foggy overcast day. Under either weather scenario be sure to bring a lightweight coat and perhaps wear pants as it is very, very windy on Bokor Mountain and it can get quite chilly at times. Plan on spending at least half a day viewing the many sites on Bokor Mountain including an interesting Wat, a Catholic Church and one of the King’s former residences. Best of all are the breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. We took a tuk tuk from Kampot to view the sites. It is best to get there early in the day to avoid the crowds.
