My family and I went to Sogo in Kaohsiung this weekend for dinner and shopping. Liuliu Suancaiyu, located on the first floor of Sogo, was renovated and reopened last September. Its bright exterior makes it easy to spot around the corner! The interior is grand and chic, and the space is comfortable. Once seated, order your food by scanning the QR code, and you can start enjoying your meal right away! The sauerkraut fish is made with the owner's meticulously crafted, secret recipe! The broth not only has the fresh and sour flavor of the special sauerkraut, but also the characteristic spicy kick of Sichuan cuisine. The oil is poured right before serving, resulting in a fresh, sour, and tender broth, and the fish is incredibly smooth. It's delicious! If you're not used to spicy food, you can order it mildly. The one without chili peppers in the picture is mild, while the one with chili peppers is spicy. Both are delicious in their own way!
We also ordered crispy shrimp rolls and crispy fried chicken, both $170, and brown sugar soft rice cakes $150. They were both unique and delicious!

By the way, they're Hi-Lai Group delicacies!
