Kaohsiung Cijin Beach – Unbeatable Sunset

Last June, I spent ten days on a small round-island trip in Taiwan. There are actually many beautiful photos that I’ve kept hidden and haven’t properly shared! Among the numerous attractions in Kaohsiung, the one that left the deepest impression on me was Cijin Beach. Located on a small island outside of Kaohsiung, it’s far from the city center. Visitors can reach it by taking a ferry from the Yancheng District. On that day, we drove there instead, which required passing through the Cross-Harbor Tunnel and was less convenient than taking the ferry. Honestly, there weren’t any special activities there, but I remember spending nearly two hours just watching the spectacular sunset from the breakwater. It wasn’t that we didn’t want to go for dinner, but the sunset was so breathtaking every second that we simply couldn’t leave! Sitting on the breakwater, daydreaming, chatting, and watching the sunset is truly one of life’s greatest pleasures. I took over a hundred photos with my camera, and here are six selected shots, straight out of the camera. Enjoy the sunset with me!
