Black Sand and Windy Sea – Kaohsiung Cijin Beach

Cijin (旗津), a small island just a short ferry ride from Kaohsiung.
This exotic destination, filled with the scent of the sea, had me most excited about visiting Cijin Beach!
The long stretch of sandy shore and the distant waves rolling in were the epitome of relaxation 🌊

That day, the wind was quite strong, so swimming wasn’t an option.
Instead, I let the wind tousle my hair and found peace in the sound of the waves.
Walking barefoot on the sand, feeling the cool touch beneath my feet,
and gazing at the sea in quiet contemplation was truly a wonderful experience.

Right next to the beach, there’s a well-maintained bike path and walking trail, making it perfect for a seaside stroll.
Along the path, you’ll find shops selling ice cream, fried snacks, and local treats, adding a touch of fun to the visit.
The area wasn’t overly crowded, making it even more relaxing and allowing me to fully immerse myself in the authentic seaside vibe of Kaohsiung.
