Located in the Penglai Warehouse of the Pier-2 Art District, the Hamasen Taiwan Railway Museum showcases the centennial history of Taiwan's railways. It features HO (1:87) scale railway scenes, tracks, and train models, combined with theater sound and light effects to present the development trajectory of Taiwan's railway civilization over the past hundred years. It is currently the largest HO scale three-dimensional model in Asia.
The museum has real railway and train scenes for visitors to take photos; there is also a station master experience area for adults and children to try being a station master.
In addition to visiting the railway models, you can also ride the Hamasen Pier-2 Line mini train. The mini train operates on Taiwan's first permanent five-inch gauge railway, running through the Pier-2 Penglai Warehouse area. Each ride lasts about 8 minutes, ensuring fun for both adults and children.
