This place was featured in the Taiwan Tourism Bureau's "ViviVivi! Taiwan" commercial. A fantastical world of red lanterns.
Seeing this sea of red lanterns makes me excited.
It was more beautiful than I imagined, so I was moved!
The red lanterns in the courtyard are named "Zai Li Heian Lanterns" and there are 1,000 of them.
You can take photos until 10pm when the museum closes.
There is also a dried goods wholesale district called "San Fong Zhong Street" nearby, so it might be a good idea to visit both.
The nearest station is San Kai Cuo Station on the conventional line, or a 12-minute walk from City Council Station on the MRT.
