🛄 | Pier-2 Art District (駁二藝術特區)

The Pier-2 Art District was originally a port logistics warehouse that was renovated into an art and creative cultural space. This area, which stretches along the Kaohsiung Port and the railway, is a great place to enjoy a sensory trip, as you can see murals, sculptures, exhibition spaces, and design shops all over the street.

As soon as I arrived at the Pier-2 Art District, I could feel the artistic atmosphere and free spirit. The streets were full of murals and large sculptures, so it was interesting just to walk around~!

What was particularly impressive were the large robot sculptures and the art pieces along the railway. The photos taken on the railroad tracks were really cool, and there were many stylish cafes and design shops nearby to see.😆

Also, as expected from an artistic space, there were many small galleries and exhibition spaces, so I was able to appreciate various works of art. If you're lucky, you can enjoy street performances or art festivals, so it would be a good idea to check the event schedule in advance before visiting!
