Kaohsiung's Xinguang Hotel - Chengyi Hotel

During a five-day family visit to Taiwan, I had a brief lunch stop at Chengyi Hotel in Kaohsiung.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the Cantonese dim sum served in the basement was authentic and delicious. The check-in counter is located on the 25th floor, and the design style is similar to many trendy Japanese boutique hotels. This setup not only offers guests a high-floor view but also provides a spacious and uplifting atmosphere.

The hotel features numerous paintings and artworks collected by the founder of the group. For a mid-range hotel, the decor scores around 80 out of 100, though some details, especially around the infinity pool area, could be improved. Overall, the staff performed well, and the hotel stands out as one of the few with young, energetic, and friendly personnel. Highly recommended!
