The Former Karatsu Bank Tatsuno Kingo Memorial Museum is a memorial museum that displays the works of Tatsuno Kingo, who also designed Tokyo Station, and the Former Karatsu Bank, a Saga Prefecture designated important cultural property.

The building and interior are impressive, and you can feel the weight of history.

Tatsuno Kingo also designed Tokyo Station, and there was a panel created by the Saga Prefectural Karatsu High School Architecture Department on display.

The beautiful latticework on the wooden counter of the bank has been restored to its original appearance!

Free admission.

If using the multipurpose hall, it costs 1,000 yen per hour.

Opening hours are 9:00 to 18:00. No closing days.
