HOTEL KARAE is an art hotel located just a 2-minute walk from Karatsu Station, nestled in the shopping district of the castle town of Karatsu, offering a travel experience that feels like living there.

The lounge art and big table are made from materials and fittings of a sake brewery that existed on this land about 100 years ago, revived to their former glory.

Created with the desire to bring a new breeze to this town through the fusion of traditional culture and art.

HOTEL KARAE does not offer luxurious amenities, gourmet meals, or spa services, as the concept is for guests to use the hotel as a base to explore and enjoy the town of Karatsu.
