[Nagano] Karuizawa ⌇ Karuizawa Common Grounds

It takes just over an hour by Shinkansen from Tokyo. It's perfect for a day trip, so I visit regularly. This is a forest complex that opened in Nakakaruizawa in 2023. There is also a bookstore, restaurants, and an international school. The shops are scattered along the path, so you can walk around like you're strolling. The terrace in the shade of the trees is very pleasant. We had scones and iced coffee, and time flew by while we were chatting. There are chairs in the bookstore where you can sit and read a book. The soba noodles in the forest were also delicious! I'll try to visit again in a different season
