The church closest to heaven

Kazbegi Stepantsminda, located about a 3-hour drive from Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, by marshrutka⛰️

A one-hour hike from the village will take you to the Gergeti Trinity Church, known as the church closest to heaven⛪️✨

It is said to be situated at an altitude of 2,170 meters!

The hiking trail is filled with breathtaking views, so you won't get bored, and since it's a gentle uphill path that takes just over an hour to climb, it's very easy to reach the top ^ ^

During the hike, you can see Mount Kazbek, a mountain over 5,000 meters high👀
If you're lucky and the sky is clear, you can see both the church and Mount Kazbek at the same time!
