A rain-soaked trip ðĪĢ
Khao Na Nai Luang Dharma Park is a peaceful and tranquil monastery surrounded by the natural beauty of the mountains. It's perfect for meditation and is a venue for Vipassana meditation training. The floating pagoda, Phra Phuttha Silavati, is constructed of laterite from Kamphaeng Phet and sits atop a limestone mountain nearly 300 meters above the ground. We climbed every peak! ðĨđ So tiring! 555
It contains the relics of the Lord Buddha, and serves as a center of belief and faith for Buddhists. Every year during the long holiday, the park is filled with people who climb the mountain to pay their respects and pray for good fortune for themselves and their families.
Besides being a sacred religious site revered by the public, Khao Na Nai Luang Dharma Park's architectural and artistic beauty includes an ancient nine-tiered archway, nicknamed "Phutthawatdi." The morning sun reflecting on the archway is a truly beautiful and impressive sight. In the morning, you can hike up the mountain to admire the beautiful sea of ââmist in the South, just as beautiful as the North. Also worth a visit is the Buddha's footprint, which stands atop the mountain at Dhammatham Park.
We arrived from Phuket by motorbike, and the gas cost was 300 baht for the round trip, about 400 kilometers. It was worth it. The atmosphere after the rain was wonderful. ð
