"Phuka Peak", the highest viewpoint on Khao Luang Sukhothai

This is the farthest viewpoint on Khao Luang Mountain from the campsite, a 2.2-kilometer hike. The trail features steep, flat trails, and a cliffside walk. It's the highest peak in Khao Luang Sukhothai, offering stunning 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains and forest. A small golden chedi stands atop the rocky outcrop, creating a stunning contrast against the lush green forest. This is also a great spot to watch the sunset, offering a peaceful atmosphere. It's not very popular due to the relatively long walk.

For those planning to visit the Yok Khao Phuka Viewpoint, be sure to bring warm clothing, drinking water, and a flashlight. The mountaintop can be quite windy, and the air becomes very cold after sunset. It's also important to allow plenty of time for the return journey. The forest becomes very dark at night, so be careful while walking.
