Kishi Station (Kishi Station - Cat Station)

Kishi Station is the terminus of the Wakayama Electric Railway Kishigawa Line, located in Kinokawa City, Wakayama Prefecture.
This small unmanned station is famous all over the world because of the first cat stationmaster "Tama" and is known as the most healing local railway. Now the third generation cat stationmaster "Nitama" is in charge of reception, and continues to attract pilgrims from home and abroad.
There were many foreign tourists when we arrived that day, and the cats were also sleeping in the station. Please be careful not to disturb the stationmaster~ It is recommended to stay for about an hour.

"Nitama" attendance hours Monday to Friday 10:00-16:00 (irregular holidays)
