[Kagoshima] Kirishima Shrine

I visited Kirishima Shrine, Kyushu's most powerful spot.

The shrine is located at the foot of the Kirishima mountain range.

The shrine building, designated as a national treasure, has a stately presence and is truly impressive.

It's quite far from Kirishima city, so I rented a car to get there. The free parking lot was spacious.

It's said to be the place where Sakamoto Ryoma visited on his honeymoon.

The vermilion-painted torii gate was very beautiful!! If I have the chance, I'd like to visit this shrine again and experience its divine power! I'd also like to enjoy the scenery during cherry blossom and autumn foliage seasons.
