Kagoshima's "Kirishima Shrine" is a shrine designated as a national treasure with a long history and a mythical and miraculous power.

The main hall, the auxiliary hall, and the worship hall are designated as national treasures. This is a historic shrine that is mentioned in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki. It is said to be a miraculous place that is enshrined in the sacred Takachiho Gorge. It is a long way to the main hall, so we recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes.
