An ocean view room overlooking the Kanmon Strait🤍

The sight of ships passing by and the rising of the drawbridge
The illuminated Kanmon Bridge looked beautiful
It was perfect for staying in a port town🫶

The restaurant is named after the Italian word “Italian” which means “gate”. We had breakfast and dinner at “Portone” 🍽

Breakfast was buffet style, and I was happy to enjoy local specialties such as grilled curry, mentaiko, and puffer fish miso soup 💓

The rich orange omelette made with Ranno eggs, which was cooked right in front of me, was delicious 🫶

For dinner, we had four recommended dishes from the a la carte menu 🥂

・Kanmon Strait octopus and potato salad
・Spaghetti with shrimp, fresh tomatoes, and karasumi
・Chef's special lasagna with two-colored tomato and cream sauce

The club lounge on the top floor, the 9th floor, has a premier room, shark eye You can use it if you reserve a deluxe twin or superior double room 🍷

All-you-can-drink sparkling wine, juice, tea, etc. 🍹
There were also snacks and sweets to have lightly nibbled on ♡

The atmosphere was like a classic bar, and the drinks were great while looking out at the Kanmon Straits from the top floor 🫶
