[Kochi gourmet spot] Hirome Market, a treasure trove of food✨

Kochi City, Kochi Prefecture. Hirome Market is a food court where you can taste soul food of Kochi Prefecture. It is a tourist market built on the former residence of the Tosa clan's chief retainer and is a very popular spot with locals and tourists. Hirome Market consists of seven blocks, including the castle square and Ryoma Street, and has many shops such as fresh fish shops, butcher shops, restaurants, miscellaneous goods and clothing stores. Tables and chairs are lined up everywhere, and like a food court, you buy what you like at each shop and bring it to eat. The staff will come to collect the dishes after you've finished eating. I went there around 6 p.m. on a weekday, but it was full and it took about 30 minutes to secure a seat. Since you sit wherever there is an empty seat, if you go with a small group, you will have to share a table. You can enjoy a lot of fresh seafood, including bonito straw-grilled, and it was a treasure trove of food such as gyoza and curry. And the bustle of the market makes the alcohol taste even better. Hirome Market, where many of Kochi's delicious foods are gathered, is a great place to visit. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 📍 2-3-1 Obiyacho, Kochi City, Kochi Prefecture ☎️ 088-822-5287 🚃 15-minute walk from Kochi Station on the JR Dosan Line Business hours 10:00-23:00 (weekdays, Saturdays, and holidays) / 9:00-23:00 (Sundays) *Store opening hours vary by store. #Travelwithme #Kochi #HiromeMarket #Seafood #GourmetTrip #FoodTrip
